2014 The Thirteenth Day
Fuoarre. No toilet seats, no paper, no toilets! Just the old fashioned French open hole with foot
rests. I have not seen these since
Cadillac with Sharon. The campground was
a unique experience. Officially, it was
closed but the “manager” wanted to make some extra money. He gave us a location in the back with
knee-high weeds. Aaron had a taste of
dry camping with a shower.
Downtown we
bought takeout food Turkish style. Aaron
had steak while I chose the chicken enhanced with wine from the grocery store.
The ride
was another glorious one, over country roads, through quaint villages, and
minimal traffic. There were several
significant climbs but the downs made them worthwhile. Aaron has become a real expert in choosing a
great cycling route.
This was
our last night on the road together.
Aaron made coffee for me while he finished the wine. For the first time we shared a sugar
treat. Absolutely delicious!
Much joy!!!
Hardy
